1991 – team of two

Secretary to the CEO of an insurance company asks in desperation: “This is not a very good translation. Can you help?”

“Yes, we can.”

The company became the fastest growing insurance company in Europe.

1997 – 20 staff

An advertising agency working for a telecoms company phoned at 18:30: “We need the transcription of a 30-minute speech from the CEO and its translation into 4 languages. Can you help?

“Yes, we can”

1998 – 25 staff

A large international takeover resulted in the year’s largest translation order from German to English. 50,000 pages had to be translated in 3 months. “Can you finish the job on time?”

“Yes, we can.”

Even so the merger did not take place.

2000 – 28 staff

A large international bank wrote: “Would it be possible to translate weekly analyst reports of 10,000 words for delivery at 19:00, proof-read by 08:00, on a regular basis?”

“Yes, we can.”

And EVS Translations did it for 8 years, every week.

2009 – 84 staff

“Can you translate a user manual into all EU languages, plus Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese?”

“Yes, we can.”

2014 – 130 staff

“We need 5,000 pages for a drug approval process. By the way, you have six weeks. Oh, and I forgot, the documents are only available in pdf format. Can you help? “

“Yes, we can”

2015 – 142 staff

“Can the sales team see us at Tekom?“

“Yes, we can. We would be happy to see you.”
